Movie rentals versus theaters
Movie rentals versus theaters
Thanks for the guest post by Bradly Watkins
I do not know what I would do without all the options. Seriously, I think I spend at least one night a week using the service to watch new movies. I think the best part about it is that I get to watch newer movies before they are available to buy. It is definitely cheaper than going to see movies in the theaters each time something I want to see comes out. I really cannot believe how expensive movie tickets have gotten in the last few years. It makes me feel old since I can remember when movie tickets were so much cheaper. Really, I can remember seeing movies when I was pretty young with my parents. We went every week. That is probably where I got my love of movies. Taking my daughters to the theater each week to see something different is totally different now. It would be so much money and I just cannot afford that. I definitely think being able to pop my own popcorn and sit back on the couch with my girls tops what it would be like going to the theater.

Since moving to London, I’ve been watching more movies at home. The prices are insane. The wait for them to be released on DVD isn’t as long as it used to be. But there are some movies that I will shell out the money for, like the Hobbit–which I can’t wait for.
I’d much rather stay at home and watch a movie than go to the theater. Aside from being robbed at the ticket booth, you can not pause the movie on the big screen. It seems I always have to answer mother nature’s call right about the time the movie comes to a ‘can’t miss’ scene. The only thing the movie theater does have going for it is that BIG screen.
Useful info. Lucky me I found your web site by accident, and I’m stunned why this coincidence didn’t happened in advance! I bookmarked it.
